Hotel St. Barbara - Tallinn

Using this hotel as a base, we easily explored all that Tallinn has to offer. The location was perfect for strolling to the Old Town, and the staff were pretty good too ensure that our stay was enjoyable. We loved having a cozy space for our family and pet.

My kids wished for a dedicated play area or something fun to do at the hotel after a day of exploring.

Hotel is simple, essential, but excellent location nearby the old town. Great wi-fi, good for business travellers and also for tourists.

Room was spacious and clean, with a lovely breakfast in a charming setting. Staff at times seemed overwhelmed during rush hours.

Beautifully upgraded from an old hospital! The fantastic location made exploring the city easy, and the breakfast offered good options to start my day!

The girls at the reception were very polite, friendly and professional. We also like the breakfast and the rooms of the restorant in the basement made it even better. The location of the hotel is very convenient to reach all attractions in the old part of Tallinn.

The room was close to the lift and it was noisy when it was used. But in general an isolation of rooms with respect to sound is very good.

Excellent location on edge of the old town, close to all amenities. Quiet except for 6.00am refuse collections on 2 of 7 days and 5.30am leaf sweeping of neighbouring office car park. Fine building with interesting history. Good buffet breakfast included, if lacking variety but more than adequate for price. Reception staff spoke excellent English and were helpful if a little aloof (seems to be a national trait).

Narrow double bed that sagged in the middle - would bid my wife goodnight at the edge and meet in the middle 10 mins later, to be repeated all night. Breakfast staff behave as if guests don't exist but otherwise do their job well.

Convenient parking options

The hotel's location is very good. Only 5 minutes to major attractions, restaurants and shopping centers. Very pleased with breakfast and free parking for cars

Commodious room, soundproof walls and generally quiet atmosphere.

A bit illogical location of TV in the room, slight so named kitchen odors on the upper floor corridors.

I ate at a really nice restaurant for a good dinner.

I struggled to climb their staircase with my luggage. After all this, a complimentary upgrade woudl ve been the least they could do, but nope. Just regular treatment here.

I liked breakfast for the planty of the various food I could eat

View was particularly good, breakfast was amazing, and beds were exceptionally comfortable. The room was spotless, had a very nice stay for 2 nights. The employees were very kind and polite and kept it all fairly clean.

Some people working there were not particularly friendly.

I found the beds uncomfortably hard. I was frustrated that there was no kettle in the room, a basic amenity in many hotels. Lastly, although the breakfast had a nice variety, the room felt cramped during peak hours was great.
